To increase the chances for pregnancy, couples are expected to have sexual intercourse on certain days of the month and at specific intervals.
Couples record the specific days that they have intercourse in any given month. This ritual goes on month after month without regard to either spouse’s feelings, physical condition, or mood. If the day has been hard or stressful, sexual intercourse is still expected. If there has been an argument, both are expected to put aside their differences because intercourse remains the priority. Romance, lust , passion and foreplay may be foregone just to put that sperm in the vagina.
