Health Habits: Sunlight everyday

The sun is important to all life on earth. Our bodies evolved expecting the sun. The darker you are, the more sunshine your body needs. The lighter skinned you are, the more efficient it is in harnessing sunlight. The darker you are, the more detrimental effects of lack of sunlight will be felt.

The worst of course is osteoporosis. Where no amount of taking calcium tablets will benefit you because you lack the sunlight to make use of it for your bones.

Morning sunshine is best. 30 minutes a day will be fine. Direct. Not through a window. With no sun-block lotions.

You might be saying, But I just want to get pregnant. This has nothing to do with my reproductive system.

My answer is, “This has everything to do with your reproductive capacity.”

A totally healthy and youthful human leads to fertility. The first thing that is usually compromised when humans are stressed or unhealthy is their reproductive capacity.

Your body tells you, “This is the wrong time to reproduce, we have some things to repair first.”
